Fleeing the nest_Hahnemühle Photorag

As I was sitting next to my local lake on the Garden Route observing the hundreds of Red-knobbed coots I saw movement at one of the nests. And all of a sudden this chick emerged and was starting to venture off. The light was perfect and the water like glass giving me this beautiful reflection of a mother and her chick.
