Savuti
Stretching from the Linyanti River all the way to Savute Marsh, the winding waterways of the Savute Channel have pumped life into the western section of Chobe National Park for thousands of generations. However, this fickle and unpredictable channel has a fascinating history of flooding and drying up, independently of good rainy seasons and flood levels elsewhere. The Savute region and the Savute Marsh in particular, is renowned for its intense predator
encounters and exceptional game viewing making it one of Botswana’s most popular wildlife destinations.
Day 1
Welcome to the Savute, where your adventure begins with a scenic light aircraft transfer from Maun or Kasane or an exciting 4WD vehicle journey. The private airstrip ensures seamless flights tailored to your itinerary, followed by a brief 25-minute road transfer to the camp. Unwind with afternoon tea on the open-air patio before embarking on your first thrilling game drive. After an exhilarating day, return to the lodge for a delightful dinner in the inviting dining area.
Day 2 & 3
Start your day with an early morning wake-up call, featuring tea, coffee, and pastries. Game Drives from the lodge explore the Savute region in open 4x4 safari vehicles. Many excursions will incorporate a visit to the Savute Marsh to give you a chance
to see the historic presence of the Savute Channel at the marsh against a backdrop of teeming wildlife. After your morning activity, enjoy brunch and relax in the lodge's beautiful surroundings. Afternoon tea will be served on the patio before your next game drive. End the day with dinner at various locations.
Day 4
As our adventure comes to a close, we invite you to enjoy a memorable morning safari, followed by a delightful breakfast. After savoring the last moments of this incredible journey, we will begin our travels back, marking the end of this unforgettable safari experience. Thank you for joining us!
