Itinerary
Day 1
Join us at a lovely resort by the banks of the Orange River, where we will gather to meet, greet, and get to know one another as we prepare for the exciting adventure ahead!
Day 4
Today's journey is truly remarkable as we head towards the Tirasberg region. Our campsite will be situated on a private farm with a breathtaking view of the valley. In the afternoon, we'll take a drive up the local mountain to enjoy stunning views and watch the sunset with some sundowners.
Day 7 & 8
In the next two days of our trip, we have another major highlight: visiting Deadvlei and Sossusvlei. On day seven, we arrive at Sesriem Canyon, where you can enjoy a rewarding walk through the small canyon to see the spring that provided water for the Dorsland Trekkers. Our second day starts early we aim to reach the dunes by sunrise, capturing stunning landscape photos of the dead trees and red dunes in the best light. After exploring Deadvlei, we will head to Sossusvlei, and for those seeking adventure, there’s the option to climb dune 45.
Day 2 & 3
We head north towards the desert, where we’ll spend the night at a cozy campsite surrounded by stunning rock formations. In the afternoon, you can enjoy a short hike up the mountain to see the rock monument dedicated to the desert horses—it's a climb that rewards you with breathtaking views The following morning, we’ll rise early to try and spot the desert horses at their favourite waterhole. If luck is on our side, we might even see them along the road. Afterward, we’ll to Lüderitz to explore Kolmanskop, the former diamond town now serving as a fascinating museum. We’ll wrap up the day with lunch in Lüderitz.
Day 5 & 6
Get ready for an amazing adventure today as we drive north through the stunning Naukluft section of the Namib-Naukluft National Park! We'll enjoy a delicious lunch at the famous Solitaire Bakery, a must-visit spot! Our destination? A wonderful family on their beautiful farm! Boesman, his wife Yuri, and their children have an incredible story to share, and their farm is truly one of the most breathtaking in the area. We'll be staying at a cozy private bush camp, away from the main building, and prepare for an exciting guided desert drive that will give us an in-depth look at this fascinating environment!
Day 10
We conclude our journey with a breathtaking view of the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. Our lodging is a unique spot nestled in the middle of nowhere, where we can enjoy a delightful meal at the restaurant to celebrate the end of our tour.
Day 9
Today's journey is regarded as one of the most picturesque and breathtaking routes in. You'll travel through the Namib Rand Reserve conclude your desert adventure at the stunning Namtib Biosphere Reserve. Along the way, we’ll stop Kanaan for a delightful lunch with a view at their charming restaurant. In the afternoon, a leisurely walk will enable you to soak in the magnificent mountain scenery of the farm.
Day 11
We say our goodbyes and head home!
